Two years ago we visited Zion National Park in southern Utah. It is a beautiful place in the nice, quiet town of Springdale. If you go, make sure you hike "the narrows" where the river is the trail! If the water level is low, it's a great and very do-able hike.
I took this pic because I really liked how the curvature of the tree resembled the shape of the rock-- as if they could nestle together like two spoons in a drawer.
(I'm not sure you can tell in this pic, but the tree and the rock are actually several hundred feet apart.)
