A sure sign of spring, these daffodils add a nice touch to our new great room. When I returned from my trip downstate late Wednesday, Terri held the door open and greeted me with, "Welcome to your new home." I carried all my things in and saw the flowers and two glasses of wine on the coffee table in the living space that just a week ago was a "jobsite".
Now, as I sit here in the dark not seeing much of all the work that has been done, I am pleased that we made the changes and glad we are so close to the end of the project.
And I realize that I'm lucky to be married to a lady who can turn a $4 bunch of flowers into such a beautiful memory.
