Warmth

Our chimney must be very narrow because we cannot burn wood without keeping the gas log starter running. The chimney was cleaned so we know that is not the problem. It's been a disappointment that we just accepted for many years.

This year we decided that, since we had to run the gas anyway, we might as well get ceramic logs so we could enjoy the fireplace. We're happy with the newfound coziness.

Of course we now need to remodel and re-furnish this room completely. (Thank you HGTV!) So those are some pretty expensive logs there.
